Impremta Col·lectiva
We are a political graphics collective actively involved in the self-managed community space of Can Batlló (https://canbatllo.org/).
Our focus is on the process rather than the result. We think together, design, experiment, and print using analog techniques such as letterpress, woodcut, linocut, stencil silkscreen, drypoint, transfer, and others we invent as we go along.
Most of our work responds to the need to support ongoing social struggles, both locally and globally. We are very connected to anitracist, transfeminist and anticapitalist movement. We use to host people from other countries to print with us, we really love visiting letterpress workshops or social movements in other countries and we try to participate in fairs and markets.
In addition to our open workshops every Thursday, where we work together and teach people from the neighborhood to print for free, we also offer workshops for schools and activist groups.
