Instantes Gráficos

Instantes Gráficos (IG) is an artistic collective founded by Carla Rey and Juan Carlos Romero, and currently directed by Carla Rey and Carla Gasparrini. Its mission is to expand the field of artist books through experimentation, research, and the exploration of new conceptual and formal possibilities.
IG supports both individual practices and collective projects, fostering a space where creation unfolds as both a personal and shared experience. It understands the art market as a platform for circulation, exchange, and the generation of new narratives.
Internally, IG focuses on deepening the language of the artist book through seminars, workshops, and mentorships. Externally, it develops exhibitions, participates in national and international fairs, and collaborates with institutions.
Rooted in the relationship between art and life, Instantes Gráficos builds a dynamic network of artists committed to continuous growth, dialogue, and expansion through contemporary artistic practice.
