NOHE NOSHE & Organza Ray – Eleni Poulou, Hilary Jeffery, Petr Step Kišur,
As a writer, poet and musician I constantly strive for new ways of story telling, inspired by the inner and the outside world. Making zines and songs, radio sound collages, installations and exhibitions, connecting people world wide through our common practices.
I have been working with Petr Step Kišur, the founder of the art collective Honey Suckle Company, for 29 years.
With our current project NOHE NOSHE we have performed and exhibited in 3137, Athens, the Athens Art Book Fair, at the ICA, London and Kunstverein Braunschweig and with Maria Journal, London. We will bring our new publications SOUND COSMETICS which is based on an installation we did for CTM festival Berlin, as well as poetry garments, objects and zines. Also joining me at Miss Read will be Hilary Jeffery.
Together we are Organza Ray. Our practice involves poetry and music. We will bring our publication “Notation Book 1” with graphic scores and our new publication including our new visual scores and instructions. We have worked intensely with the artist and composer Philip Corner whose calligraphic scores we play, and are working with the artist and poet Egidija Čiricaitė on music box poetry that we will also present as well as our music on cassette tapes and vinyl records.
